The car had a complete strip down of all plastics underneath the vehicle and we proceeded to dry ice clean the whole underbody and arches (excluding the engine & gearbox).

Why dry ice clean area’s you can’t see?

Dry ice cleaning is the safest and best way to clean and prepare the underbody of a vehicle, especially when applying a protective coating (the next stage).

Ice blasting/cleaning works by firing out frozen CO2 pellets and on impact with the surface, micro explosions or sublimination occurs with the Ice, removing dirt/grime but leave the surface in tact. The client chose dry ice cleaning to enable us to protect the underbody for years to come on this appreciating modern classic.

Stainless Cats – the exhaust system on the Porsche had been changed in previous ownership to a predominently stainless system.

The cats where still the original mild steel variants so we replaced them with brand new stainless steel cats and new lamba sensors, mildly improving performance but also enhancing the sound, and of course the look!.

We can supply and fit partial or full exhaust systems from any mainstream quality performance exhaust manufacturers, or we can have a bespoke system created for you.

Following the Dry Ice Clean, we prepare the underbody by masking/covering bushes, tubing, shocks, Brakes and full exterior and then apply Aegis by spray gun/hand to the full exposed underbody including arches/subframes.

Following the application is it then stripped back down and plastics cleaned and installed (we can supply brand new hardware for the underside should it be required) ready for handover.
