A fun & entertaining driving adventure on the South West’s best roads…

A pasty is of course a British baked pastry, a traditional variety of which is particularly associated with Cornwall, South West England, so we thought we’d celebrate that with this unique driving event. The end goal – a delicious Cornish pasty to be enjoyed in the picturesque harbour town of Padstow. How do we get there? Read on….

WHEN?

Friday April 25th & Saturday April 26th 2025

ITINERARY:

A fully planned route for us all to drive, presented using the latest group navigation app, so we’ll all be on the same page….or road! We’ll also provide a printed trip guide.

There will also be 2 x support vehicles to help with the smooth running of the event.

Day 1: The journey begins on the edge of the Quantock hills in Somerset with coffee & pastries and time to get to know you’re fellow pasty hunters. We then embark on a journey taking in the Atlantic Highway, through Dartmoor, Exmoor, and into Cornwall for a stop at Porsche Specialist, Williams Crawford. Afterwards we head for our overnight stop (via a few more fab roads) at Bodmin Jail!

Day 2: After a hearty breakfast (included) we then set off for the last leg of our Pasty Run. Heading deeper into Cornwall discovering more of the best roads on offer, we head for the well known fishing port of Padstow. Here we will have reserved parking for all of the cars, and we’ll all be able to enjoy what we came for – A PASTY!

ACCOMMODATION:

Housed in a meticulously restored 18th-century prison, Bodmin Jail hotel offers a unique blend of history and luxury. Each room, crafted from three former cells, retains original features while delivering modern elegance and comfort.

You’ll be treated to dinner (Friday) bed & breakfast at this unique hotel.

FOOD:

Dinner (Friday) & breakfast (Saturday) are included at Bodmin Jail Hotel, along with morning coffee & pastries (Friday) at the morning meeting point on the first day. And of course there’s a pasty included too! We’ll provide a ‘lunch on the go’ box/bag for you on the Friday, containing some yummy Cornish goods!

Bottles of water will be supplied for all cars throughout the trip.

NOT INCLUDED:

Fuel for your car & drinks other than the water supplied. You also won’t find any car snobbery included, any Porsche is welcome!

THE COST:

£295pp for driver & passenger in a car, sharing a room
(twin or double)

£395 for a single driver in their car
(single occupancy double or single room)

Should your passenger require their own room, please contact us for costs. A deposit of 50% is required to secure your space with the balance due 3 weeks before the trip.
